"Topshop owner Arcadia turnover falls as web hits shop sales"
Sales at Arcadia retail empire dropped below £2 billion during 2017 when a surge in online transactions hit trade in their shops. The turnover for the company fell by 5.6 percent to £1.9 billion, a decline of £113 million. Some say this is due to the collapse of BHS in 2016, which he sold to a former bankrupt for just £1 a year earlier. The collapse of the department store chain would eventually catch up with Green as he agreed to pump £363 million init the BHS pension scheme.
