TOPSHOP'S MISSION STATEMENT

Due to Topshop being such a significant brand in the modern day fashion industry, as it is part of the Arcadia Group a British multinational retailing group. I then started to delve into my research further by looking at Topshop's mission statement. One of Arcadia's programmes is called Fashion Footprint which plans, monitors and manages the social and business environment of their business. Fashion Footprint vision provides us with a mission statement that we can all get behind, to produce fashionable products in an ethical way and demonstrate a responsible attitude towards people and the environment.

To gather this information I researched on their website, where they had a list of ways they are tackling this worldwide problem, for example:
- lawful through fair and honest dealing
- without exploiting the people who made them
- decent working conditions
- without damaging the environment
Topshop as a brand are "confident that they have been produced under acceptable conditions"
